Brahma Meets Rammal

Brahma was in the woods, generally minding his own business as usual. It was an uncommonly pleasant day for December, and he was enjoying a rare moment of solitude. Ah, the silence is quite refreshing, thought the minotaur. No noise, no ruckus, no trouble whatsoever! Why, if it were not for those screams in the background, I would--

Brahma came to a sudden halt as the words caught up to his brain. Screams?

The minotaur took off like a train, ignoring everything in his path due to the fact he weighed over two tons and could generally knock over anything that dared to get in his way. When he reached the edge of the forest, he could see the ground very far below the cliff where he stood, and quite some distance away he also saw a city under attack by a giant lion who towered over the buildings, muscles rippling against fur as it smashed the roof of a supermarket and proceeded to wolf down what its huge paws could grab.

Wait, the feline has a mane, so it is a ‘he'. Well, he is going to be in for some lecturing as soon as I get there. The bull checked to make sure no one was at the bottom of the cliff, then jumped. He fell only a short distance when he literally exploded into a huge mountain of muscle and fur, the ground trembled slightly from the impact of his titanic feet . Being careful not to step on anyone (though he couldn't help the craters his footsteps created as he walked), he approached the lion, who was munching on what Brahma hoped was an empty car. "WHAT do you think you are DOING?" he bellowed as he examined the lion's snack--thankfully, it was empty.

The lion flinched at the bull's booming voice, and when he turned to see the source of the voice, he saw a wide abdominal brown-furred 'wall', then looked up to the sight of a impossibly wide chest, a muscular neck, and finally, the most piercing glare he'd ever seen in his life. He had never seen a macro as huge as Brahma before, and he took a nervous gulp before replying. "Uhm...I'm eating?"

"Yes, I can see that," the bull growled, his eyes narrowed in anger as he loomed over the lion, who looked quite small compared to the minotaur's massive frame, "but WHY are you frightening these people?"

The lion blinked, not quite understanding the question. "Because I'm hungry?"

"That is no excuse to terrorize these people!" the bull spread his muscular arms, indicating the wreckage the lion caused. There were injuries everywhere, but it looked as if no one was killed...so far. The bull was getting very tense now, and the involuntary flexing of his immense muscles was evidence he was beginning to grow even angrier.

The lion frowned--his muzzle scruntching up in confusion, not getting the point. "But I'm hungry."

"Yes, you said that already--what I do not understand is why you feel the need to pick on defenseless citizens. You're obviously intelligent, why can you not hunt the larger creatures that were created for predator macros?"

"Uhm...because it's fun to rampage in a city and play with these little people?"

That was the worst answer the lion could give to Brahma. With blinding speed, the bull grabbed the lion by the mane, hoisted him over his broad shoulders, and immediately left the city. He would have to come back later to survey how bad the lion damaged the area, but for now the minotaur marched across the landscape, ignoring the lion's struggles and pleas. When they were a safe distance away, he put the lion down roughly on his backside, and sat on him before the lion could scramble away.

"Ooooowwww!" the lion protested, trying to squirm out from underneath the massive bull with no success, the bull was very heavy and too strong for the feline.. "Get off of me, you're hurting me!"

"That is the idea."

"Why? I never did anything to you!"

Brahma glowered at the lion, who quickly ceased talking and squirming once the bull locked eyes with him. "And those people never did a damn thing to you! I want you to know what it feels like to have someone bigger than you do whatever he feels like. So, how does it feel?"

"It's..." the lion sulked, looking away from the bull. He couldn't face the minotaur's scrutiny.

"Yes?" prompted Brahma.

"It's not a good feeling."

Brahma nodded. "You feel helpless."

"Uh huh"

"You do not like that feeling, do you?"

"Nuh uh"

"A little scared, are you not?"

"Maybe a little."

Brahma got to his feet, watching as the lion shyly backed away. "That is how they feel. It is not nice to treat them like toys or food simply because you have the advantage in size. If you were a mindless beast I would have killed you on the spot!" Seeing the fear in the lion's eyes, the bull added, "But I decided to give you a chance. You seem to have learned your lesson, so do not let me catch you attacking another city. Be thankful you didn't kill anyone. What is your name?"

"Ra...Rammal."

"My name is Brahma, and I hope you have learned your lesson, Rammal. Stick to hunting the macro prey, or we will be having this conversation again." With that, Brahma went back to the city to help with damage control.

The next day, Brahma sat on Rammal's stomach for an hour. He is going to be a slow learner, I think...
