Kitana used with permission by her player Crap, crap, crap! thought Brahma as he raced down the street, making the ground underneath his feet tremble with each pounding step. He was in a hurry, as he had to pick up his friend before school started. His nostrils flared wildly as he increased his pace, picking up speed. Of all the times to oversleep! And that idiot brother of mine...Oooh, am I going to get him for that prank! He was still angry at what his brother Angus did--throwing his bedsheet over him so that their mother wouldn't see Brahma still sleeping, oblivious to the clock counting past the time to wake up. Brahma weighed his options for sweet revenge as he drew near his friend's house. Water balloons? No, that would not bother him. Vicious rumors of his sexual prowess? Better not, as since we are twins, it would mean mine is bad as well. Poison? No, mother and father might not enjoy that. He saw his friend's house in the distance, and pumped his legs to move even faster. Guess I will just have to wait. he thought as he closed the distance rapidly. Clyde looked at his watch for the nineteenth time. Brahma's late again, the equine thought, his chocolate-brown eyes wandering towards the area where Brahma would be approaching. I wonder what Angus did this time? Sighing, he started to walk towards school when he felt the earth under his hooves start to tremble. Oh boy, he isn't running, is he? Clyde felt a bit frightened as he looked again in the direction where, sure enough, Brahma was charging straight at him, hand outstretched to grab the equine. This is gonna--URF! His breath fairly wooshed out of him as Brahma snatched Clyde into his grasp, and carried him like a football towards the school. "What'd he do this time?" Clyde panted, scared briefly out of his wits. "Covered me with a bedsheet," Brahma replied. "Sorry for being late." "No problem. Watch out for that fruit stand" Brahma made a tremendous leap over the fruit stand, managing to clear it with lots of room to spare. "I saw it." the minotaur muttered, not slowing down a bit. "You didn't last time!" "That wasn't my fault, he moved it from the usual spot." "Oh give me a break, Brahma! You used that excuse the last two consecutive...crater, Brahma...times!" The minotaur's legs flexed, sending them over the deep chasm that stretched across the street and partly into a corner of a building. "Must be a fresh crater, since they have yet to block off the street." "Better be on the lookout for more of them. There's one right now, in fact." Another leap, and the crater was behind them. The equine looked over the bull's shoulder to see how much distance the leap carried them. Instead, he saw trouble. "Uh oh." Brahma kept his attention ahead of the road. "What is it?" "We got trouble." "Type?" "Female. Flying kind." Brahma almost saw his life flash before his eyes. Not good. Oh, please let it not be... "Is it who I think it is? Please, please, PLEASE let it not be her! "Yup. It's Kitana, and she's got the ol' ball and chain look in her eyes." Brahma then wished he had not gotten out of bed that morning. "I am going to perform Evasive Maneuver number 12, Clyde. See what she is doing with her hands." Clyde peered over Brahma's shoulder again. "She's...oh boy, she's spreading her hands towards us! I think she's creating a fireball!" Brahma then winced as Clyde's voice reached a volume not normally found in equines. "INCOMING FIREBALL! MOVE LEFT, BRAHMA! MOVE LEFT!" his friend screeched, and the minotaur reacted immediately, changing direction just as a fireball exploded in the area he was previously at--the heat washing over them like a blanket. "RIGHT! MOVE RIGHT!" Another fireball impacted against the asphalt where Brahma dodged. "Why is she after you this time, anyway?" "I told her I did not wish to visit her house to be seduced by her last night." "And so she's mad because accused her of wanting to seduce you?" "Accuse, nothing. She blatantly said that was what she was going to do!" "Lookout! She's dive-bombing us!" Brahma screeched to a halt, and a huge red and black furred winged humanoid crashed into the ground, digging a trench into the pavement as the giantess skidded forward. She shook the debris from her blond hair when her momentum ceased, and shakily got to her paws, crushing a car under a hindpaw as she steadied herself. "Brahma, I am so like going to get you. Nobody turns me down, not even a cutie little hunk of beefcake like you!" Of course, Brahma was already headed down the trail leading to the school, making Kitana even more frustrated. She started walking calmly towards the bull, her tread easily catching up with the smaller bull. "Uhm, Brahma?" "I know, Clyde, I can feel the earth shaking. She's walking towards us, yes?" "Yeah..." Clyde suddenly trembled. "I don't wanna die!" "Calm down, she will not hurt you, it is me she wants. As soon as we pass by the school, I will toss you into the bushes, and keep on going." "I'll miss you , Brahma. Can I have your mp3 player?" "No, because I intend to survive this." The custodian had just finished trimming one of the hedges when Clyde was unceremoniously tossed into it. Turning around, the old lapine shook his fist as the retreating minotaur before the huge shadow of Kitana passed overhead, followed by her equally huge hindpaw crashing into the ground just inches away from the groundskeeper. Knocked off his feet and landing painfully on his rump, he watched in terror as the winged fox picked up a cherry-red truck, crushed it into a ball, and threw it at the minotaur. "Noooooooo!" the lapine cried. "I only had one more payment on ol' Bessie!" Brahma became aware of the incoming projectile from the large shadow it created, and stepped to the side. Lucky for him he zigged the right way, and the projectile missed him. Unluckily for him, he zagged into a dropoff, and began tumbling down the hillside, where he fell into a small lake. Now, Brahma recalled there being a legend about this lake. It went something like this: A shewolf drowned in that lake, and cursed whoever would fall into its waters while being chased by a crazed winged fox to become a giant shewolf. Needless to say, the general populace thought it was a crazy curse cast by a crazy (and drowned) shewolf, so no one ever worried about it, and Brahma was too concerned about drowning, since he was a very heavy bull. Strangely enough, he reached the shallow end fairly quickly, and sat down, coughing up a bit of the lake's water. "Hey, you!" a voice called out to him. He turned around to see Kitana standing at the lake shore from a distance. Odd...she seemed so far away. "Have you seen a little minotaur? I think he landed in the lake!" Why was she looking up at him? "Hey! You listening to me, lady?" Lady? He looked down, and saw black fur instead of brown, and discovered his chest...was huge!. He (she?) also discovered the reason why KItana was looking up at him (her?)...the newly-transformed Brahma was at least four times the kitsune's height. "Oh, gods," Brahma rumbled, startled at the husky tone to the voice. "I am a wolf!" "Yeah, you sure are, and normally, I'd be all about that, but right now my newest obsession is that cute lil' minotaur. You seen him?" Brahma instinctively folded her arms across her chest in an effort for modesty. "Uhm, yes. I think he swam that way." She lied, pointing a finger in a random direction. "Thanks! I can't wait to get my paws on him!" She then took flight, chasing after where she thought her target had fled. Brahma sat in the water for another moment, then wondered what was going to happen next. "Woo!" a voice called out from the distance. "Look at that, guys! What a babe!" Brahma turned to see a group of young giants on the opposite side of the lake shore. The tallest being a minotaur who was leering at the transformed Brahma. "Wonderful, now my brother is here. Can this day get any weirder?" To be continued... |
